Duncan is based in Suffolk and London, working principally from his studio near Framlingham in mid-Suffolk as well as carrying out freelance work in London and elsewhere.
Using best conservation practice in accordance the Institute of Conservation's Code of Conduct and Ethical Guidelines, he undertakes professional conservation and repair of a wide range of ceramics, glass and related materials including stone and enamel for private and commercial clients, heritage organisations (including the National Trust) and museums.
He has an MA in the conservation of ceramics from West Dean College, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Conservation (https://www.icon.org.uk).
